Green Schools

As part of An Taisce’s Green Schools Programme, the children of St. Anthony’s and their teachers and parents have earned our third green flag for the school. This Green Flag is for water conservation. It is hoped that the process will help all involved to become more aware of the importance of environmental issues and to take them more seriously in their personal and home lives. At present, the main focus of this work is to revisit the first three themes,(1) litter & waste,(2) energy and (3) water conservation.
