Planning ahead for 2016/2017

Younger pupils, First Classes upwards: Younger pupils receive coaching in hurling and football in the course of the school year.

Activities and Competitions for pupils in 3rd to 6th Classes: The current School year started with the Sciath na Scol Football Competition. As we have done for the past few years, we have managed to be competitive while also catering for the very large number of players in our school.  Regardless of results on the field, it was very rewarding for the players.  This was only possible because of a great "team effort"from all concerned. It necessitated a great committment from all the pupils, parents and school staff involved in any way.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir!

Proposed GAA activities for 2016/17: 3rd Class Indoor Hurling: Fun Games, 4th Class Indoor Hurling Competition, Mini Sevens Football & Hurling, Sciath na Scol Hurling, The Shane & Gavin Kavanagh Tournament for 4th & 5th Classes, Derry O'Mullane Hurling Tournament for 2nd & 3rd classes.

Updates will be posted for each of these as relevant.

Sciath na Scol Update 2016/17

The GAA Seaon so far .......

We had a very large number of boys involved in our Gaelic Football trials this year.

As always, it took a great team effort to accomplish this! Pupils, parents and teachers all played important parts!
